Bathroom Showers

By Amanda Taylor

Bathroom showers come in many different, shapes, sizes, and styles. From traditional showers to the more extravagant luxury showers, there are many choices to consider.

Traditional bathroom showers include the most common showers available. Walk in showers are very common as well as practical. This type of shower is a stand alone unit that requires a small step up and a door to close. Another common traditional bathroom shower is the bathtub and shower combination. This type of shower is a good choice when you want a shower and a bathtub but there is limited space.

Luxury and specialty bathroom showers are increasing in popularity with the trend on bathroom design moving toward relaxation and comfort. Steam showers are by far the most popular type of luxury bathroom shower. Steam showers, in addition to providing the regular function of a traditional shower, provide homeowners with a spa-like relaxation experience. Steam bathroom showers emit water vapor to give your body and skin a heated, sauna like feeling. Not only do they produce steam, this type of bathroom shower also has many specialty features such as ceiling rain, foot massager, jets, radio, MP3 output, dual seating, and telephone. Surprisingly, luxury bathroom showers generally do not require more room to install when compared to a traditional bathroom shower.

When considering the options available for bathroom showers, don’t forget to consider both traditional and luxury styles of bathroom showers. While traditional showers are designed for practicality, luxury showers are designed with comfort in mind.
